Mount Roraima lies on the southeast corner of the Venezuela coast; this table top mountain forms the highest peak of all Guyana’s highland regions, but the highest point of the mountain is called Maverick Rock at 2810 meter high, this point is located at the south east end of the plateau. Mount Roraima is one of Guyana’s touristic destinations which also has a beautiful scenery from the savannas that lays beneath it.
