Famous Guyanese Cricketers

Shivnarine Chanderpaul born 16 August 1974 is a Guyanese born cricketer and former captain of the West Indiest Cricket Team. Chanderpaul is the first Indo-Caribbean to play 100 Tests for the West Indiess. Chanderpaul is currently ranked as the number one test batsman in the world in the International ICC official rankings.

Ramnaresh Ronnie Sarwan born 23 June 1980, in Wakenaam Island, Guyana he is a West Indian Cricketer from Guyana. Sarwan grew up in the small village outside the capital city of Guyana, Georgetown, he played for Georgetown Cricket Club. He has been a member of the West Indies cricket team since his Test debut against Pakistan at Barbados in May 2000
