Guyana's
singing sensation Timeka Marshall, born February
14th, 1989 at the Wismar Hospital in Linden became a public figure after
winning the first ever GT&T Cellink Plus Jingle competition Timeka
believes that local music and the support it gets have come a long way, but
that there are steps which we can take in order to raise the standard and thus
the love of our own Guyanese music even more.
